Mama Sue is 67. Catholic. Thai. A mother-figure to travelers for decades. She worked in a Bangkok bookshop, opened what became the first guesthouse in Pai, then cooked at Krazy Kitchen for about thirty years.
She sold that land to live closer to family. The land changed. The heart did not. Now she offers one room in Chachoengsao so foreigners can still feel local life: fields, simple food, honest conversation, a clean bed.
